Ruth Bader Ginsburg. We’ve lost a true icon.
While we mourn the loss, I wanted to pause and reflect on what I want to learn from RBG and incorporate into my own life. This Forbes article captures it all. The headlines:
1. Know your value and purpose. RBG was relentless in her pursuit of achieving justice and equity for all. “She was not ambitious for herself, but for her cause”.
2. Accept no excuses. Persistence and resilience were her hallmarks. Even though she graduated at the top of her class, not a singe law firm would employ her. She didn’t let it stop her.
3. Own your ambition. There is no need for us women to be ambivalent about ambition. Let’s bring forth our full potential to the world, as did RBG.
What inspired you most about RBG? What lessons do you want to bring into your own life?
